UNICO
Mit der Entwicklung seines eigenen automatischen Chronographenwerks hat Hublot – wie bei all seinen Kreationen – den Anspruch verfolgt, etwas Originelles, Anderes und Einzigartiges zu erschaffen. Als Herzstück der Uhr präsentiert dieses Open-Heart-Uhrwerk seine vollständig neu gestaltete Architektur, die durch ein Doppelkupplungssystem, ein auf der Zifferblattseite positioniertes Säulenrad sowie eine Gangreserve von 72 Stunden besticht. Die aus 354 Komponenten bestehende Konstruktion wurde so weit wie möglich vereinfacht, um Zuverlässigkeit und Langlebigkeit zu erhöhen.
KERAMIK
Für Hublot sind Materialien ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Uhrendesigns. Sie müssen die Ästhetik unterstreichen, das Uhrwerk schützen und die Zeit überdauern. Deshalb verwendet die Manufaktur für ausgewählte Lünetten und Gehäuse Hightech-Keramik – ein außergewöhnlich langlebiges, nahezu kratzfestes Material (das nur von Diamanten übertroffen wird), das aus Zirkonoxid hergestellt und bei extrem hohen Temperaturen gesintert wird.
