UNICO
Mit der Entwicklung seines eigenen automatischen Chronographenwerks wollte Hublot – wie bei all seinen Kreationen – etwas Originelles, Anderes und Einzigartiges schaffen. Als Herzstück der Uhr enthüllt dieses skelettierte Uhrwerk seine völlig neu gestaltete Architektur, die über ein Doppelkupplungssystem, ein auf der Zifferblattseite positioniertes Säulenrad sowie eine Gangreserve von 72 Stunden verfügt. Seine Konstruktion, bestehend aus 354 Komponenten, wurde so weit wie möglich vereinfacht, um Zuverlässigkeit und Robustheit zu maximieren.
KERAMIK
Für Hublot sind Materialien ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Uhrendesigns. Sie müssen das Design ergänzen, das Uhrwerk schützen und dem Test der Zeit standhalten. Aus diesem Grund verwendet die Manufaktur für ausgewählte Lünetten und Gehäuse Hightech-Keramik – ein außergewöhnlich langlebiges, nahezu kratzfestes Material (nur von Diamant übertroffen), das auf Zirkonium basiert und bei extrem hohen Temperaturen gesintert wird.
